Brown Sugar Bars
Ingredients:
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 lb. box light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsps. Vanilla extract
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
Frosting :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While it is heating, place the 2 sticks of butter in 13x9 pan. Put pan in oven until butter is melted.
Place the brown sugar in a large mixing bowl. When butter is melted, pour over the sugar in the bowl. Mix well with an electric mixer. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well with mixer.
By hand, stir in the flour. After flour has been mixed in, stir in the nuts.
Pour batter back into the pan that had the melted butter. Bake for 40 minutes.
