Hershey Honey Locust

Hershey is a grafted thornless honey locust cultivar. It produces large pods with as few as 16 pods per pound. It is an excellent producer of enormous sweet pods. Named after John W. Hershey who did survey trials that showed honey locust pods to be quite delicious and acceptable food for humans. Whitetail deer devour the pods from this tree. Hershey has been planted in permaculture plantings for both humans and livestock.

Since we are dealing with a living tree, the availability of certain sizes and quantities fluctuate on a seasonal basis. We will be in touch with each of those who order to verify and make any necessary order changes. All orders are fully refundable if we do not have your tree in stock and a suitable replacement size is not available.
