Munson Plum is native to the south central U.S. The fruit is large and succulent with sweet, juicy, soft, melting flesh. It is commonly found in the rich soils along the banks of streams, floodplains, pastures, roadsides and edges of woodlands and often forms thickets. Also known as wild goose plum, rarely found in the wild but a very hardy tree.
