- 1 9” unbaked pie shell
- 1 cup boiled mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 T plus 1 tsp light Karo syrup
- 1 T plus 1 tsp dark Karo syrup
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of ground all spice and nutmeg
- 1 egg
- 1 T vanilla
- 2 tsp half and half
Step 1: Mix all ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell.
- 1/4 cup dark Karo syrup
- 1/4 cup light Karo syrup
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 T vanilla
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cup of Shelled Pecan Halves or Bass Pecan Pieces
Step 2: Mix ingredients except pecans and pour on top of sweet potato mix. Then cover the pie with a layer of pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle with 1 1/2 T of Rum.
